I've been a journalist, a story coach, an award-winning screenwriter, and even an on-air host for the Home Shopping Network.

My life and work as an expat in Asia became the basis of two memoirs — and that was after I was the religion editor for an LGBTQIA+ paper, the dating columnist for an alt newsweekly, and the bridal editor for a society rag… all at the same time.

My writing has appeared in The Washington Post, Salon, and The Rumpus among numerous other outlets.
